A metric which provides a solution for a radiating charged particle in Einstein's universe is obtained. This metric in the vicinity of the source reduces to the metric which describes the field of a radiating charged particle. In the absence of the source the metric reduces to the metric of the Einstein static universe. The metric is not conformal to the metric of Bonner and Vaidya (1970).
