The Living With a Star program aims to understanding our space environment as a unified system. For this approach to be successful, the scientific working environment must present the LWS components as a unified whole. We present an architecture and data assimilation environment which addresses this critical issue. The goal of our Problem-Solving Environment for Living With a Star (PSELWS) project is to place the users of the data at center stage -- providing a virtual workbench with the tools, and infrastructure needed for seamless, timely and efficient access to the various data sources.
