The catalogue contains Population II and old disk stars identified using all known criteria to separate stars into population types. The main file is the General Catalogue arranged in order of right ascension (1950.0). It contains about 35,000 records for approximately 25,000 different stars. The catalogue will be used in establishing a data base for Population II stars.
