We measure B meson lifetimes and lifetime ratio in a sample of B mesons selected and tagged via their semileptonic decays. To separate signal leptons from cascade and fake leptons we have used a method which combines several discriminating variables in a neural network. A slow pion tag was used to separate the sample into two independent samples with significantly different fractions of B^± events. With an integrated luminosity of 20.6 fb-1 collected on the Υ(4S) resonance by the BABAR detector at the PEP-II asymmetric-energy B Factory at SLAC, we measure the B meson lifetimes to be τ_B^0 = 1.557± 0.028(stat) ± 0.027(syst)± 0.004(Δ m) ps and τ_B^± = 1.655± 0.027(stat)± 0.027(syst)± 0.002(Δ m) ps. The lifetime ratio r_τ ≡ τ_B^± / τ_B^0 is measured as 1.064± 0.031(stat) ± 0.026(syst)± 0.002(Δ m).
