Scientific paper
Long time series of diurnal pressure variations, S1(p), at Macao
(22°N,113°E) and Batavia (now Djakarta: 6° S, 107° E)
are analyzed, and, at both locations, a correlation is found between
S1(p) and El Niño-Southern Oscillation (ENSO). Some possible
physical explanations for this correlation are given.
