A new deduction of the inverse square law of attraction between two masses in linearized gravity is presented. Attention is given to the Weyl static axially symmetric vacuum fields and to elementary flatness on the axis of symmetry. The Curzon solution of Einstein's vacuum field equations is used, as is the Levi-Civita solution to calculate the accelerations.
