Orbit Determination: Errors
Scientific paper
The problem of initial orbit determination is discussed with nonlinear programming method. The angle-only data error is treated as mini-disturbance of parameters and the sensitivity analysis model on nonlinear programming is established in the case without disturbance. From this, an analytical formula is deduced to express the relationship between the calculated value of the orbit element sets and the angles-only data error.
