A new possibility to solve the problem has been given by the application of adaptive optics in astronomy: eliminating the seeing effects by image reconstruction before detection, hence a leap of the precision will be obtained as space observations. Photoelectric astrolabes have simple constructions and their stability is good. They are appropriate to be equipped with adaptive optics system.
