In an earlier paper (Ballester and Kleszek, 1984), lower limits have been derived for magnetic fields and electric currents in two sprays and in one eruptive prominence assuming that the projection on the xy-plane of a turn of a spiral is a circumference. Here, these calculations are made again without using the simplifying assumption. As a result, more realistic values are obtained for magnetic fields and electric currents in the prominences.
