The energy loss of many-armed structures due to the emission of quadrupole gravitational radiation has been determined as a function of the number and relative placement of the arm structure. The results show an energy loss maximum for the case of a structure with two symmetrically placed arms and an energy loss of zero for the case of three or more symmetrically placed arms. The case of asymmetry in the placement of the two arms is also explored.
