An iterative least squares procedure is used to analyze the high dispersion spectrum of photospheric C2. The equivalent width and other spectral parameters (central depth, wavelength, and half-width) are determined for the Swan band of this molecule. The band intensity and the rotational temperature of the molecule are obtained from measurements of the equivalent widths.
