Scientific paper

A method for the observation of bolide spectra in several orders by means of bolide cameras equipped with fish eye objectives, near-focal rotating shutters, and diffractional lattices with resolving power of 200 - 300 lines/mm is described. Results are presented from an observational experiment carried out by the author at the Arecibo Observatory (Puerto Rico), and of spectral observations of bolides carried out at the Sanglok Observatory (Tadzhikistan).
