The relationships between the locations of the Lagrangian points and the boundaries of their respective satellite systems are developed analytically by means of four cases. The four cases developed examine the circular or elliptical orbit of the planet with and without considering the action of the Coriolis force. The results of the analysis suggest that Lagrangian points L1 and L2 lie on the boundaries of their respective satellite systems.
