NGC 6745 may be interpreted as a chain of galaxies. The small bar
observed in NGC 337 also closely resembles a galaxy chain. The object VV
243 in the Atlas of Interacting Galaxies apparently represents a
late-type edgewise spiral accidentally projected against a minichain or
pair of galaxies.
