In this configuration, the primary mirror is 12.4 m long in east-west direction and 4 m wide. It can rotate round the east-west level axis. The primary mirror is spherical and consists of 94 mirrors with a diameter of each mirror of 0.75 m. For each object the useful area is 4 m on the primary mirror and the tracking time is one hour. The sum of simultaneously observable objects is about 2400. The effect of this telescope equals four telescopes, each having 4 m aperture.
