The study of pulsars with ages comparable to the age of the universe is reviewed, including binary, millisecond, and globular-cluster pulsars. Consideration is given to conventional pulsar models, the history of the discovery of various classes of pulsars, and the results of pulsar surveys. The role of magnetic fields in the evolution of neutron stars is discussed. A list of known binary, millisecond, and globular-cluster pulsars is given and the evolution of these pulsars is described. Also, the use of pulsars as celestial clocks, relativistic binary pulsars, and the use of millisecond pulsars as cosmology probes are examined.
