The authors calculate and analyse the atmospheric neutrino flux with a three-dimensional Monte Carlo calculation including muon polarization effects. The flux ratio has a plateau νe/νμ = 0.49. This value is not enough to explain the Kamioka data. They present the expected neutrino fluxes at several detector sites.
