We calculate of the spectrum of high energy neutrinos from AGN based on the accretion disk paradigm. We predict that AGN will be the strongest source of ultrahigh energy background neutrinos in the universe. AGN neutrinos should be observable with further, and possible present, neutrino detectors. We show that high energy neutrinos can create a sphere of stellar disruption around the AGN with a radius ~30 light days, possibly accounting for the broad line region.
