We are surveying the Milky Way and the Magellanic Clouds for methanol 6668-MHz masers using the new multibeam receiver. The first 26 days of observing yielded 377 detections, of which 150 were new discoveries. We now request a further 30 days of observing time to carry out the next phase of the survey. We expect to submit one or two further requests for similar amounts of time over successive semesters to complete the survey of the Southern Galaxy.
