A morphological description of the solar photosphere, chromosphere, and
the corona is presented from a complete sequence of visual and
spectroscopic observations made in Honduras (Amapala), during the total
solar eclipse of 11 July 1991 and from the analysis of some emission and
absorption lines at all the eclipse phases.
