Winter and summer midlatitude models of vertical ozone distribution are presented. These models have been developed for the temperate zone of the Northern Hemisphere on the basis of recent data of the global ozonometric network and rocket observations. These models are compared with existing reference ozone models, and it is concluded that the proposed models are suitable for use as a standard in problems of atmospheric optics and the remote sensing of atmospheric characteristics.
