Mercury: Space Missions
Scientific paper
The only spacecraft to visit Mercury photographed less than half the
planets' surface, and questions persist about Mercury's nature and
origin. By placing a spacecraft into orbit around Mercury, scientists
could not only map the entire planet but also investigate Mercury's
atmosphere and magnetic field.
