Description of a method for determining the barometric coefficient of cosmic rays which takes into account the variation of the primary spectrum, the cutoff rigidity, and the pressure at the observation level. The proposed method involves the application of the method of least squares to an exponential representation of simultaneous measurements of the cosmic ray intensity and the pressure at two recording points.
