The method proposed for solving electromagnetic induction problems is based on direct iteration with respect to the deviation of the conductivity from a certain constant level. The method is well suited for calculating the currents induced by an external electromagnetic field in the world ocean and the sedimentary layer of the earth. The iterative sequences of the method are shown to converge at any excitation frequency.
