A method for processing speckle images that requires no simultaneous measurements of a reference point object, suggested and analyzed. The method is shown to be based on a combined analysis of the speckle spectra and those of the averaged image. In addition, model calculations, are presented which illustrate the suggested method to point extended and double objects.
