This paper presents a way to determine the age of cosmic rays in the
Galaxy by using the data on the ratio of the abundance of manganese to
iron from the Danish-French isotope instrument on board HEAO-3. The
leaky-box model and the exponential path-length distribution have been
adopted in this paper.
