The paper presents a new method for calibrating magnetographs and instruments designed to measure differential radial velocity. The method offers improved calibration accuracy and can be used under essentially the same conditions as routine observations. A typical calibration-recording example is presented, made at the solar telescope for operational predictions at the Saian solar observatory.
