This paper introduces a mask which is the key component of the radial-velocity spectrometer at the 85 cm reflector of Beijing Observatory. Its total transparency is equal to 19 percent. The mask is made on a chromium-coated flat glate plate. This paper gives the transparency of the glass plate and shows the picture of the mask, the maximum curve of the hallow cathode lamp and the minimum curves of the sky light and two stars.
