Using the the regional distribution of magnetization, we deduce a new
paleomagnetic pole associated with the large magnetic features of the
Cimmeria region. The pole would suggest that the Tharsis bulge was
within 20 degrees of the magnetic equator when the Martian magnetic
field was active.
