The results of a two months' field experiment are presented. As the variations of the vertical component of the earth's magnetic field are relatively small, we can infer that we have a layered system. This hypothesis is shown indirectly to be correct since the impedance is independent of the direction of the electric vector. We suggest an interpretation model which requires two intermediate conductive layers.
