We propose to obtain the first ever full synthesis image of Centaurus A, our closest radio galaxy. Our primary objective is to study, in unrivalled detail, the feedback (interaction, influence and impact) between the radio source and the intergalactic medium. The timeliness of these observations is the realisation in recent years that feedback from AGN processes play a hugely important role in galaxy (and cluster) formation and evolution. Our secondary objective is to exploit Centaurus A as a polarised background screen to explore the magnetic fields of foreground objects including the Milky Way.
