We present the results of our Hα grism spectroscopy of bright-rimmed clouds (BRCs) in search of candidate T Tauri stars. We detected Hα emission stars in and around all but two of the 19 BRCs observed, the total number amounting over 170. Similar to the near-IR stars associated with BRCs, these stars are concentrated more or less near the tip of bright rims (i.e., in the head of the BRC and just outside the rim) and often make a loose aggregate. Thus the results of the present observations provide further support to our ''small-scale sequential star formation'' hypothesis. Further the presence of such a large number of Hα emission stars in the immediate vicinities of BRCs implies the extensive formation of low-mass stars in HII regions, which are high-mass star forming regions. This is very impotrant in view of the fact that the major mode of star formation in our Galaxy is that in giant molecular clouds and OB associations and not in small dark clouds such as Taurus or ρ Ophiuchus.
