We present here the results of a combined Chandra and XMM analysis of spatially resolved spectroscopy of the ICM of the nearby (z 0.012) galaxy cluster RXJ 0419+0225, which is the coldest cluster in the Dupke-Bregman ASCA sample of clusters with velocity gradients. Despite the higher-than-predicted gain fluctuations observed with Chandra, we find strong indications of a velocity gradient, with similar geometric configuration as that previously detected with ASCA and with similar magnitude > 1000 km/s. We also discuss different models to explain the multiple phenomenologies found in this cluster.
