In the present model of Beta Pic, the problem posed by the dynamics of metallic ions in a cometarylike cloud which has been released by an infalling body is treated hydrodynamically. Access to physical parameters is given by calculating the surface that limits the ionic clouds as a bow shock. For the case of bodies sufficiently close to the star, application of the model to the dynamics of Al II ions shows that the heat generated by compression and collisions within the shock surface of the Al II cloud is sufficiently high for collisional generation of Al III ions.
