The interstellar medium in a galactic bulge is expected to be in the hot phase, tracing the fate of the stellar feedback in the bulge. We propose an X-ray absorption line spectroscopy of the hot gas in the Galactic bulge. An observation of GX 9+9, located in front of the bulge, will allow us to determine the foreground hot gas absorption by the Galactic disk. This, combined with existing observations of 4U 1820-303, located within the bulge, will enable us to isolate the bulge absorption. We will then for the first time be able to measure the physical, chemical, and kinematic properties of the Galactic bulge hot gas. This unique absorption line spectroscopy of the hot gas will greatly help us to understand the role of the galactic bulge stellar feedback in galaxy evolution.
