Scientific paper

A high-gain low-noise low-frequency narrow-band amplifier has been synthesized using operational amplifiers, with the resulting circuit consisting of a number of cascaded stages. The transfer function approximated has a passband centered at 27.7 Hz and a bandwidth of 0.75 Hz; the passband gain is about 120 db. The amplifier is intended for use in a gyro-interaction experiment to study the lower ionosphere.
