The authors propose that Cyg X-3 is powered by both accretion and
rotation of a rapidly spinning neutron star endowed of a modest magnetic
field. This makes the system close to Sco X-1 in the description
recently suggested by Priedhorsky. In particular the possibility of
producing the high-energy emission is discussed.
