Analysis of selected absorption lines in the spectrum of Beta Coronae Borealis was performed using a detailed model atmosphere technique. A scaled solar temperature distribution was utilized for the computations of the opacity, gas and electron pressures as functions of the optical depth at 5000A. An analysis of neutral and singly ionized iron lines was performed to assess the amount of turbulence in the atmosphere. From the curves of growth constructed independently for two separate wavelength regions for the Fe I lines, a depth independent microturbulence of approximately 1.5 km/s was needed in order to adequately describe the observed equivalent widths. A similar value was confirmed by the Fe II absorption lines.
