We present the results of a dynamical study of WZ-type dwarf nova HV Virginis. HV Virginis was discovery from Harvard plates taken in February 1929. It subsequently went outburst in 1939, 1970, 1981, April 1992 and February 2008. It has been under intense study since its 1992 outburst. Our dynamical study consists of almost 100 hours of photometric and spectroscopic observations using the MMT, CTIO/4m and FLWO/1.2m telescopes. Its spectrum shows very broad, double peaked H-alpha and H-beta lines. The radial velocity semi-amplitude of the H-alpha emission line is about 58 km/s. Its radial velocity variation indicates that the system has an orbital period of 0.0570100 days. This is slightly shorter than other recent reports. We present our data and estimate of the masses of the system.
