We have described the double-pass spectrograph built at the Indian Institute of Astrophysics. Measurements of the scattered light within the spectrograph using the photoelectric scans of the NaI D-lines show that this is a good near-scatter-free system. This instrument is used to monitor the disk integrated CaII K line profile of the Sun on a regular basis.
