We propose to conduct a deep near-infrared (JHK) survey of M33 in support of our SIRTF GTO Science Program to survey M33. The SIRTF program will include 3.5- 160 micron imaging of the field of M33 plus 4- 14 micron spectroscopic studies of individual luminous objects. We propose to use SQUID on the KPNO 2.1-m telescope to produce a JHK reference grid or template for guiding image reconstruction and stellar population identification with the SIRTF data. The reduced data from the JHK survey will be placed in a publicly available database.
