The short period (0.459 days) single dM1-2e star EY Dra shows remarkably stable rotational modulation on the timescale of a month, i.e., during more than 60 rotations. However, the overall brightness level of the star seems to be variable on the timescale of about 300 days as follows from the ROTSE archival data. The rotational periods and cycle lengths of active stars are correlated in the sense that stars with shorter rotational periods have also shorter activity cycles. The 300 days long cycle of EY Dra, if verified, would be the first ultrashort period star in the rotational period-activity cycle diagram with such a short cycle.
