The determination of the angle $\gamma$ of the unitarity triangle of the CKM
matrix is a challenge for the $B$-factories. In this context, $B\to\pi K$
decays received a lot of attention, providing various interesting ways to
constrain and determine $\gamma$. These strategies are briefly reviewed, and
their virtues and weaknesses are compared with one another.
