We carried out least squares fits for weekly, fortnightly and monthly values of the scaling factor k/C, using very long baseline interferometry (VLBI) and satellite laser ranging (SLR) data for variations in universal time (delta UT1) as well as for the time derivative of the delta UT1 values (i.e. the variation in the length of day delta LOD). We also present numerically derived corrections to the current periodic series for delta UT1.
