Simultaneous full-disk solar velocity images as recorded by the MDI instrument on-board the SOHO spacecraft and by the GONG+ prototype instrument in Tucson, AZ were decomposed into time series of spherical harmonic coefficients up to degree-l=1200. Cross-correlations of the time-series for each degree, l, and azimuthal order, m, show good agreement up to l~ ~600 (correlation coefficient ~0.0.85). Above this l-value, atmospheric seeing progressively degrades the correlation. The GONG+ power spectra show clear p-mode ridges out to l=1000.
