A detailed simulation of the electromagnetic component of extensive air
showers generated by 10^11-10^15 eV photons has been carried out by
means of the EPAS code. We present and discuss the results concerning
the longitudinal, lateral and temporal distributions of electrons and
photons down to 1 MeV energy threshold.
