We propose a 70 ks XMM-Newton observation of the bright recently-identified Seyfert galaxy 4U 1344-60. A short, serendipitous XMM-Newton EPIC observation showed the signature of a strong (EW~350 eV) and broad (FWHM~60,000 km/s) Fe Kalpha emission line. It is one of the most remarkable examples of relativistically-broadened iron line detected by XMM-Newton so far. 4U 1344-60 represents therefore an ideal target to constrain the diskline parameters and provide a detailed description of the X-ray continuum/accretion disk system geometry, which is hard to achieve in AGNs without such a clear relativistic spectral feature.
