CCDs offer a number of advantages that make them attractive for scientific applications, particularly for astronomy using ground-based and space-borne detectors. A brief description is given here of the UCD/DIAS CCD camera system. The authors recorded images of the open cluster M67 in all colours, using both RCA thin and thick CCDs. These images are being used to establish the photometric transformations for the system. In addition, four-colour (B, V, R and I) observations were made of a number of Haro galaxies.
