WALKING northwards on Saturday evening, September 2, I was looking
towards the constellation of Cassiopeia when a bright meteor appeared at
a point a few degrees west of η Perseus, and moved slowly westwards,
gradually increasing in brightness until its disappearance at a point
near α Canes venatici.
