The molecular gas close to 30 Doradus in the LMC offers a unique testbed to study the properties of molecular gas as a function of radiation field in a low-metallicity environment. The conditions in this region, low metallicity, high UV flux, violent star formation, may resemble those in the early Universe. Over the last semester we mapped this peculiar molecular feature with Mopra (MX002) and obtained first results, such as a change of the H2-to-CO conversion factor. With this proposal we like to perform a line survey across the 3mm band toward five positions along the molecular ridge to investigate line ratios and therefore optical depths, fractional abundances, densities, temperatures, ionization fractions, shock, and PDR indicators as a function of radiation field.
